    Our trained volunteers are essential to delivering services to survivors of sexual violence at Waterford SATU and providing support in other areas of our work.

    Are you interested in/ passionate about women’s rights, ending Gender-based violence and want to make a positive contribution by helping others?

    WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING volunteers to provide on call support for the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit (SATU) located in University Hospital Waterford as part of a 24/7 call out service.

    We are looking for people who are good listeners, calm, and empathetic. Must live within a 30 minute radius of Waterford City. Previous experience in a caring role is an advantage but not necessary. Training will be provided.
